Well, Ken, of all the things that you could be doing for a living, how did you become interested in conflict management?

Well, at a background in engineering, to begin with medical R&D. And what I learned was I hadn't learned one bit about dealing with people in engineering school.

And my biggest challenge as a research manager was not the technology, it was the people.

So I thought, I'll go to law school and I'll learn some things there. Well,

there's nothing there about people either. And so out of law school, I just really

deepen my relationship with the Lord and just sensed him calling. Instead of spending my time

advocating and being in a courtroom litigating, why not help people reconcile? Because that's

the gospel. It's reconciliation.

And relationships are arguably the most important thing in our life, our relationship with God
