Oh, you're welcome. I am so excited about our time together because I have become an expert

apologizer. Let me take that back. I'm not good at apologizing. I'm just

familiar with apologizing. And I'm learning, I'm excited to learn how to make better apologies

and be better at resolving conflict in my marriage and with all my important relationships.

Well, one of the things we need to do is pray for God to give you more opportunities to apologize.

That's right. More chances to practice, my apologies.

Well, Ken, of all the things that you could be doing for a living, how did you become interested in conflict management?

Well, at a background in engineering, to begin with medical R&D. And what I learned was I hadn't learned one bit about dealing with people in engineering school.

And my biggest challenge as a research manager was not the technology, it was the people.

So I thought, I'll go to law school and I'll learn some things there. Well,

there's nothing there about people either. And so out of law school, I just really

deepen my relationship with the Lord and just sensed him calling. Instead of spending my time

advocating and being in a courtroom litigating, why not help people reconcile? Because that's

the gospel. It's reconciliation.
