Where did you get that from?

You know, I think it came from the early days of my own marriage

because my wife and I struggled greatly in the early days of our marriage.

And we were both Christians.

I was actually in seminary studying to of our marriage. And we were both Christians. You know, I was actually in seminary, studying to be a pastor.

And I think because we went through that, it gave me great empathy for people who are struggling.

So when they sit in my office and say, we have no hope for our marriage, I remember when I didn't have any hope for my marriage.

And so I sometimes say to them, I can understand that.
