Leading off today, the iPhone 17E is coming soon, representing a key update to Apple's most affordable iPhone model.

A new rumor today offers a closer look at the device detailing all of the specs and design

changes on the way. The rumor says we can expect a refreshed design that replaces the notch

with a dynamic island. The display will remain unchanged at 60 hertz instead of 120

hertz. The device will use the C1X modem, upgraded from the C1 and the 16E, and have a 4,000

millie amp hour battery the same as its predecessor. It will have an upgraded 18 megapixel front-facing camera with center stage

support matching the iPhone 17 lineup. For comparison, the 16E features a more basic 12-mapixel

selfie camera. The rear camera will be unchanged at 48 megapixels, but processing improvements

will reportedly let Apple improve low-light

performance. It'll be powered by a bend version of the A-19 chip, so it might not be as powerful as

the chip in the iPhone 17. It will support MagSafe charging, a notable upgrade over the iPhone 16E,

which supports wireless charging, but without any magnets.

And finally, the rumor says it'll be available in black and white color options, starting at 599 for 256 gigabytes of storage.

Apple has also reportedly tested a lavender color option that may or may not have made the cut.

The iPhone 17E could be announced as soon as next week, and if all of this pans out,

it'll represent a small but needed improvement over its predecessor.

Next up today, YouTube was one of the biggest apps missing from Vision Pro when it launched

in February 2024.

When Vision Pro first launched, Google said that a Vision Pro app was on its roadmap, but it suggested that people use Safari in the meantime.
