Welcome to the Dr. Berg's Healthy Keto and Interminute Fasting Podcast, where Dr. Berg takes you on the journey for the truth about getting healthy and losing healthy weight. So today we're going to talk about apple cider vinegar versus

0:46.3

distilled white vinegar. What are the differences? What are the similarities?

0:51.3

Does it matter which one to take? Well, over here we have apple cider vinegar,

0:55.3

which is about 5 to 6% acetic acid. And then the white vinegar is about 4 to 7% acetic acid. Very,

1:04.2

very similar. The big difference is the source. Alpacide vinegar obviously comes from apples,

1:13.1

and white vinegar could come from grains, barley, corn, sugar, potato, milk weigh, believe it or not, it's a protein in milk,

1:23.9

and other grains. And of course, this corn could be GMO unless this is organic. Now, with

1:33.8

Alpacetam vinegar, in one tablespoon, you have about 11 milligrams of potassium. There's not a lot of other

1:40.7

vitamins or minerals in this product and just realize that our bodies

1:45.4

require about 4,700 milligrams.

1:49.1

So 11 milligrams is pretty insignificant.

1:53.4

Now, certain types of alpsidid vinegar, like Braggs, raw, which is organic, has a sediment at the bottom of it. It's called the mother, which is a tiny

2:05.2

bit of bacteria, other things like fiber and maybe some enzymes. And of course over here we have

2:13.0

distilled white vinegar. Which one is better? Well, it really relates to the source. Of course, if you have

2:21.1

organic apples and you're going to make apple cider vinegar to these ingredients, obviously this is

2:27.0

going to be a much better source. Plus, it has some additional things to help you. However,

2:33.5

if we take a look at the acetic acid, these are very,

2:37.6

very similar. So the effects of white distilled vinegar versus apple cider vinegar are going to be

2:44.2

pretty close, if not identical. But because the source is a low quality, I would recommend,
