Habits shouldn't be "shoulds," they should be supportive. And yes, I see the irony in that statement, but I think you'll agree! How many times have you set out to create a new habit based on a should, like one of these? I should weigh this much... I should be this type of mom... I should wake up earlier... I should be a reader... How many times have those habits failed? Your habits should support you as your most authentic self. have these these pressures outside in the world external pressures that we then internalize

it's just kind of a general idea a pressure that we get from other people whether we are just

trying to model our lives after them or we are directly told these things but sheds again are

external pressures that we internalize and even if they're for good things they're they're

pretty bad for a lot of reasons and the primary reason being because when we are not fully choosing

something it can lead to resentment it can lead to lack of commitment it can lead to a leading

a life that is not your own which a lot of women I work with struggle with it can lead to a whole

identity that you don't even know who you are anymore or you've been faking one all along okay
