Next July, we're running the Iger Ultra Trail race in Switzerland, and we want to invite any

listener to this podcast who might be interested in meeting us there in Switzerland.

That's right. The Iger Ultra Trail by UTMB is so popular that it's already sold out,

but thankfully we have access to

bibbs through our partner Run the Alps. This epic course has unrivaled mountain scenery on highly

runnable trails. There's a distance for every level of those who want to try a European trail race.

The race offers a 16 kilometer, 35 kilometer, 51 kilometer, and a 101 kilometer.

Yeah, I am almost 99% sure. I'm going to do the 51K. It'll be my second 50K I've ever done. They have a 13-hour cutoff. So as long as I do like 2.3 miles an hour, I should be okay. But you don't have to be an ultra runner to enjoy it.

Like Angie said, they have a 35K and even a 16K.

We're doing this race as part of a nine-day running retreat that starts on July 12th, 2025.

this area in 2018 I did my first trail race in Europe called the young frail marathon and I was just

totally blown away by how beautiful it is I remember running through the louder Brunen

valley which we're going to be able to see next year you You can see 72 waterfalls cascading down the cliffs, and we look on top of these cliffs like

400 meters up. There's green pastures and mountain huts, and there's villages up there that are not

accessible by car. Some of these villages will be staying in. But I remember in 2018, the climbs were definitely

challenging as I was going up the mountain. But all I had to do was stop and just look around and realize

how lucky I was to be there. But I remember in that race, about 39 kilometers into it, there were these

Swiss Alporn players. We were very high up at this point, had come so far,

and I look behind me, I can see this line of runners
