And this week we are joined by Sarah Bowen,

and we will be talking with her about her work as an animal chaplain.

And her book, which is called Sacred Send-offs, the organization that she co-founded,

the Compassion Consortium, and I think a whole lot more. There's a lot to chat about here, and you did

it. I didn't because I finally got COVID for the first year. You backed out of the interview at the last minute because

you finally got COVID. We sort of thought you must be immune, but apparently you are not.

Well, I'm also in bed right now. So hopefully I'm making enough sense, but who knows if I normally

make sense. But yes, I have lasted a

very long time. Interestingly, my mother and my boss, neither of whom have had COVID before,

also got this stream. Yeah, no, I've heard of other people too who have not had COVID up to now.

John Stewart, actually, I was just watching John Stewart on TV,

and he was saying that he had just had COVID. He had never had it before. So yeah, this strain,

it seems like it's not as serious as like the other ones. I mean, and not just because we're

vaccinated, because most of our vaccinations are not very strong at this point.

But it's just, it sounds like, I mean, this is totally, I'm talking off the top of my head,

this is not medical.

It sounds like it's not as serious as a lot of the other strains, but it's getting everybody.

It totally is.

And I was really sad about Sarah and missing this, but I was in very bad shape earlier. And now that I'm somewhat immobile, I'm feeling a little bit better.
