Anger can be a disordered vice, but of itself it's neutral.

Anger in fact is one of the God-given passions or emotions, and it is a source of energy

and power to achieve something difficult or arduous.

An energy to change what is bad or evil, and it's a power to endure something unchangeable without becoming evil oneself

or without despairing or giving up and losing hope.

In fact, Thomas Aquinas says that the power of anger is the power of resistance in the soul.

And if harnessed, anger can be good, it can be what God intended.
