On June 2nd, 2017, a young woman was found dead outside of a home. The discovery

led to a quick investigation and a whole lot of argument over what the cause of death truly was.

Jessica Renee Johnson was, at the time of our story today, a mother of two children who she

doted upon and dedicated most of her life to.

Extremely close to her family, she was in an on-again-off-again relationship with a man

named Garland Hart,

who, though most of her loved ones did not approve of, Jessica seemed deeply in love with.

Regardless of how they felt about the boyfriend, though, everyone knew that Jessica was incredibly

happy with her life and loved every aspect of it. Living with her parents in their Horn Lake, Mississippi

home, Jessica, on May 31st, 2017, told her family that she was going to go stay with her boyfriend,

and speaking with her mother the following day, told her that she would be back soon. That was the last

time she ever saw her beloved daughter, who was nowhere to be found

until June 2nd, 2017, when a mail carrier on their usual route found the young mother's body

kneeling next to a mailbox. Around her neck and looped around the mailbox post, her body propped
