| 0:00.0 | Welcome to the Conversations, That Matter podcast, where we are crafting a bold Christian vision for America. |
| 0:20.0 | I'm your host, John Harris. |
| 0:20.9 | We are going to talk today about the future of the right, the future of the right. |
| 0:26.4 | The right, of course, politically is an important element for conservative Christians |
| 0:31.5 | because they have had a seat at the table on the right for a long time, and they don't have |
| 0:35.9 | any voice on the left. |

| 1:18.1 | For example, on something like the free market, I very much believe in the free market, |
| 1:22.8 | but I am not an absolutist or an ideologue on the free market. |
| 1:26.2 | I think there are limitations to this. |
| 1:28.4 | When you have prostitution, gambling, and pornography, it influences your society in such |
| 1:33.9 | negative ways. It's not worth it to be able to freely sell those kinds of services and commodities. |
| 1:40.4 | And it is perfectly fine to limit those things for the good of your community. |
| 1:44.4 | And so there's many other things we can talk about. |
