Hey, everyone. Let's talk about the immigration debate in America for a moment. I want to lay a foundation for the podcast that I put out two days ago on Southern Baptist churches and networks partnering with NGOs for refugee resettlement, NGOs that have activist arms and legal resources to help undocumented workers in their minds, but illegal migrants essentially. And I see this is a bad thing. I think most of my listeners do.

We've laid this foundation before, but I think it's good to have a review, and I don't blame everyone who's coming into this discussion without knowing all of that. I don't blame them for not knowing it. So I just, I want to make this, I want to make it short as much as I can. I don't want to sacrifice detail,

but I still feel compelled to put something out here to explain what I think and how I think

Christians should be viewing this in the United States. And so I'll start here. After my

podcast dropped, or actually after I recorded the podcast, there was this situation,

this tragic situation in Minneapolis where an activist was shot, an activist against ICE who got

belligerent. If you watch the video, there's a number of videos from different angles,

at least two, but it was a confusing situation,

and it looks like the agent who shot him thought he was reaching for a weapon of some kind.

And about a second before that, another agent disarms him, but I don't think the agent who shot

him saw that. And it's just, it's a horrible thing. I'm sure that the agent who did this feels terrible about it, at least they should. And there's already consequences that are being handed down. I know the supervisor is being transferred and there's a reexamination of the whole enterprise. And a lot of this, I think, there's a lot of blame that goes a lot of different places. But a lot of the blame in my mind goes to the local police and the state police because they have stand-down orders and they're

not helping at all. They're not working with ICE federal immigration law enforcement to make

the situation safer. They just are kind of leaving them open. And there's

been just a lot of protests. I mean, this is the second, and who knows how many more will have,

hopefully none, but this is the second activist who has been killed. And of course, in the first case, you know, I looked at that video from

number of angles. It looks like this was someone who was trying to run over one of the ICE

agents. And it's like, why is this happening? Why is this getting the kinds of reactions that

it's getting? And it's obvious for anyone who's paying a little bit of attention to the news.

The narrative that the left is putting out there are these are a bunch of Nazi thugs. These immigration

law enforcement officers are detaining people. They won't say any names. It's just they'll just say,

they'll cite an example without any details and they'll say,

they're rounding up people who are legal citizens or hear legally and they're, and they're doing
