All right, today we are looking at Proverbs chapter 2 verses 16 through 19.

And this section is one in which the writer has personified the characteristic of wisdom

and is writing as if wisdom is speaking to us directly and is giving us a lot of the

benefits that come if we seek wisdom in our lives.

Now I don't know about you, but thinking of myself as a wise person is an appealing thing.

It's something that I want to be true of me and I want others to say of me, not because

I care so much about what people think of me but more so because I want it to be true.

I really want to be that kind of a person.
