Hello my friends, I'm so thankful that you join me for another episode of The Morning Mindset.

You and I are opening the scriptures today in Proverbs chapter 2 verses 10 through 22.

And wherever you are in the world today, I'm thankful that you're with me.

I'm looking at the map right now inside my statistics dashboard and I see people in India

who are listening. It reminds me of a friend Samuel who we've met through The Morning Mindset,

who is from Nigeria that lives in India and he will soon be traveling back to his home.

Or today, we are looking at the book of Proverbs again. We are wrapping up chapter 2 with

verses 20 through 22. And remember, the writer has personified the characteristic of wisdom.

And so these verses are telling us what will be true of our lives if we have wisdom

in our lives. And wisdom herself is speaking to us. So we are in Proverbs 2 verses 20 through

22. And here is how it reads. It says, when you have wisdom, so you will walk in the way

of the good and keep to the paths of the righteous. For the upright will inhabit the land and

those with integrity will remain in it. But the wicked will be cut off from the land and

the treacherous will be rooted out of it. Now friends, we have a combination of things here

going on in this passage. First off, it's all future focused. It's telling us when you

have wisdom, you can count on certain things in the future. And they are promising things.

The phrasing that is used is something that meant a very great deal to the readers who

originally read these Proverbs, Jewish people who had the promises of God about an actual
