Summary

We talk a lot about staying in the present moment, but that is more than just being aware of what’s going on right now. Today, we’re digging into awareness, but approaching that awareness with a sense of gratitude. This weekend, we challenge you to keep up with your pleasant events and spend a few moments reflecting on the good things happening right now. See you back here Monday!  If you like what you hear, you can spend more time with Kessonga inside of the Headspace app, where he leads a variety of guided meditations and wind downs for sleep. super extended rent about where our next family vacation will be. She was excited to do

1:14.8

this being that she's been cooped up in the house for the past year or so as many of

us have been. She started naming all of these exotic locations, some very realistic,

1:26.2

others not so much. But what moved me was her excitement and pure joy of thinking about

the future and what was to come. And it was addictive and contagious. Before I knew

1:38.4

it, I was pulled into talking about possible travel destinations. In fact, for many hours

1:45.9

after talking and fantasizing with my daughter about future travel, I was still totally

1:51.3

in fantasy mode, daydreaming about exotic locations to vacation and hold retreats. And

1:57.8

then my present moment awareness gently kicked in. I realized that I was getting lost

2:03.8

in fantasizing and not bringing my full awareness to what was presently happening. And I also

2:09.6

got to thinking about the concept of gratitude, bringing an attitude of gratitude to what I

have right now in this very moment. It's so easy at any given moment, but perhaps more
