Affirmations are positive statements that can help you to shift your mindset and create the life you desire. Remember, affirmations are most powerful when they are used consistently. Make it a habit to repeat your affirmation to yourself each day, and you will be amazed at the positive changes that occur in your life.

And if you're not sure what your purpose is, that's what this series is all about. I want to share with you a term called

destination addiction. And this is when you begin to believe that happiness is in the destination at arriving or at achieving rather than in the

present moment in the here and now. This is called destination addiction and it often begins earlier in life than you may realize.

If you reflect back to when you were a child, you might have remembered times when you were told or you thought, oh, I can't do that until I'm older. I have to wait until I graduate

or I have to wait until I'm this age or that age. And this can be exciting as you allow the

passage of time to carry you on towards great milestones.

But if you've experienced this a lot in your life,

you might begin to feel as though your happiness is on hold until a certain point,

until something outside of you is reached.
