has returned to American politics.

I'm delighted to be joined today by Ben Shrekinger, who is a correspondent at Politico, an author of the Bidens inside the first family's 50-year rise to power.

Ben, congratulations on the book.

It seems to me, as a Brit looking across the Atlantic, it seems to me that Joe Biden has always been seen as a good guy and that the Biden family

is sort of seen as a good thing in the life of America. But the story is a bit more complicated.

And I think your book reveals this.

Can you tell us a little bit about it?

Yeah, thanks for having me.

The book grew out of reporting I was doing for Politico during first the Democratic primary

and then the general election that had to do with the various business dealings of Joe Biden's
