Amanda Hesser is responsible for the chic e-commerce and community siteĀ Food52, which she launched with co-founder Merrill Stubbs in 2009. Amanda wasn't always an entrepreneur though, as you might have guessed.

Prior to launching Food 52 in 2009, she had a very prestigious career in newspapers, specifically

at the New York Times, where she worked as a food reporter and editor for over a decade.

She's also the author of the Essential New York Times Cookbook, which includes over
