0:00.0	Today's lesson, we're going to be focusing on Ammonai Ha. This particular city is fascinating
0:07.5	in the whole mission of Alma the Younger. Remember, he gave up the judgment seat. He's no
0:13.4	longer the chief judge, and he's gone on this mission to try to increase the level of righteousness
0:19.4	among the Nephites. So you'll notice that back in chapters five and six, he started at the center of the land.
0:27.6	He began in Zahraimla.
0:29.6	Then in seven, he went out to Gideon and had a great experience with the people in Gideon.
0:34.6	Then he came home, and in the beginning of chapter eight, it tells you that he returned in verse one to his own house as Aramma to rest himself
0:43.0	from the labors which he had performed. He's getting some downtime, some relaxation, and
0:48.4	then in chapter eight, he begins again. In verse four, he began to teach the people in the land of Melek, according to the Holy Order
0:57.6	of God, by which he had been called. Check this out. You get chapter 8, verse, you know,
1:04.9	3 through 6, he's in Melech. And look at the people. Verse five, it came to pass that the people came to him
1:13.1	throughout all the borders of the land, which was by the wilderness side, because we're west of
1:17.2	the river Sidon, out on the west by the borders of the wilderness, and they were baptized
1:22.8	throughout all the land. So that when he had finished his work at Melech, he departed
1:28.2	thence and traveled three days' journey on the north of the land of Melech and came to
1:32.0	the city which is called Ammoniah. Now look at this. So you get chapter 8, where he leaves
1:38.1	Melech in verse 6, comes to Aminiah, and you're going to be in Ammoniah all the way through
1:43.4	chapter 15. That's a lot of column space.
1:47.8	That's a lot of scripture pages for the city of Ammoniah. Notice this pattern. Mormon,
1:53.8	looking down the quarter of time, says, hmm, what do they need? What is going to be the most
1:59.7	beneficial to them in the latter days?
2:03.4	What happens here, here, here, or here, and in what proportions?
