finished the first half of the Book of Mormon, we're now pivoting

to the second half and when I get to teach religion 122, I come out with guns

blazing because we get to start with one of my favorite people. Well I'd love to hate

it's a love hate relationship,

it's Corohor, so I love to hate the guy.

As one who studies anti-religious rhetoric academically,

he is one of my go-to guys,

because it's so fascinating to see rhetorically how he tries to move people away from the doctrine of Christ.

We've already met a few anti-Christs up to this point.

We met Sheram back in Jacob chapter 7. We saw Nihor in Alma

Chapter 1. In fact, if you recall, the structure of the Book of Alma is first half, second half,

with parallels throughout the entire thing.

So where did Alma begin in chapter one?

With an Antichrist, Mejor, and then the aftermath of that Antichrist is a bunch of dissenters that fell for his doctrine, namely the amlicites.

Today we're doing the exact same thing, round number two.

We are meeting Corohor and Alma 30, he's our anti-Christ for the day.

And then Alma 31, which is the aftermath of his apostasy,

leads to dissension on the part of a group called the Zoramites.

So here's our parallels, Okay, Nihor equals Corohor and Amlocytes now become
