Hello my friends I'm so grateful to be back with you we are at a transition point this week

if I was teaching the book of Mormon to my BYU students this would be the last day of the first

semester and you have to have a breaking point at some point between two semesters when you have a

first half and a second half of a book of scripture. And in some ways if you think

about movies that you know were meant to have two parts, you have to choose the

breaking point really carefully because you want to end on

something epic in movie one but you want the sequel to start with something equally

epic next time around. Well we have that chance in the Book of Mormon.

Today we're going to be covering Alma 23 through 29,

which is the culmination, the grand crescendo

and climax of the missionary chapters.

Incredible material.

We'll meet the anti-Nefai Lehi's today in chapter 24. We will see

Amman give his stirring missionary homecoming address in 26. We'll see Alma do the same

thing in chapter. Great way to end the semester. And then next week

when we start the second half of the Book of Mormon, our second semester, we get to

meet Corohor, which is the ultimate Antichrist, one of the people that you just love to hate in the Book of Mormon.

So as we approach the middle, the midpoint of what we're studying this year in the Book of Mormon,

we have some incredible things to discuss, and I'm looking forward to it.

of Amman and then go up a generation and we have the conversion of Limhi's father and many of his people
