Jared Halverson and so excited to talk about more missionary chapters in

the book of Alma today we'll be going from Alma

chapter 23 all the way through Alma chapter 29. There's a ton of material here

and it's incredible. So I hope you'll stick with me through however many segments of

this lesson we need. I know there are a lot of

come follow me channels on YouTube and they're all excellent. Some are more intellectual, others

more devotional, some lean towards history and others towards application. Some are meant more for teachers and others towards application.

Some are meant more for teachers and others more for students.

And like I said, they're all awesome.

Many of you have said to me that the one thing that you seem to appreciate is how slowly I go,

finding truth in application in almost every verse.

So if that's what you're looking for, you found the right place.

If they still feel too long, you can speed them up in the settings, make me sound like an auctioneer racing through the Book of Mormon, or you can pause it and come back to it whenever you need.

I know many of you are already doing that so you can take notes in your scriptures.

That's actually one of my hopes for each of you, that you'll have your scriptures open as we go through this so that you can be marking words and phrases that jump off the page.

Whatever works for you, I'm just thrilled that you're here to feast upon the words of Christ.
