Hello and welcome back to SoTriology 101.

Many of you may remember that I have done a critique of Ali Stuckey when she was on as a guest on the Ben Shapiro program,

and she introduced to Ben Calvinism and this concept and idea that God is ultimately the one

who controls our decisions as to whether to follow and obey him or not and yet we're still held

responsible for those decisions and Ben Shapiro asked the question I think we would all want to

ask is how do you square that circle?

In other words, how do you overcome what seems to the rest of us intuitively to be a contradiction?

And we showed how she never really answered that question.

She just simply quotes from passages of scripture, which she thinks do support the concept of divine determinism and human responsibility and just

says, hey, well, the Bible is what it is. And it may seem contradictory to you, but this is what

the truth is, and so you have to accept it. And we just push back on that to say, we don't

believe that the Bible supports a contradiction, but instead that Ali and other Calvinists have

simply misinterpreted Romans

9, for example, and other passages which seemingly support the Calvinistic worldview of divine

determinism, and that that's not a pill that needs to be swallowed. In other words, it is not a

contradiction. When you understand the context of the verse, you understand what Paul is intending to say to his audience,

and understand the verses that are often used to support the Calvinistic system.

And so many may be familiar with Ali. She is a conservative talk show host that's really speaking to the millennial generation.

The fact that she's talking about this on mainstream podcasts and talking about Calvinism

and introducing Calvinism to millennials of this generation just shows what we've been saying

a long time is that among young people, Calvinism is resurging, it's growing, the concepts

and ideas surrounding Calvinism are becoming more and more popular. I think it is
