But if you're wondering what in the world that is, I've got Anne here to explain, hey, Anne.

Hey.

What in the world is what the duck?

Well, you see, what happens a lot with me when I'm out and about is I'm always doing double takes.

So, you know, I'm like walking along and I'll be like, oh, what's that?

Or, oh, that insect looks like it's licking the bum of that ant.

What's going on there?

And like doing double takes like that.

And that's what this program is all about, those moments in nature where it's just like what the duck is going on.

And yeah, the title itself came from the fact that when I write text messages on my phone,

there's a certain swear word that gets auto-corrected to duck. And so that's where it came from.

It seemed only fitting, right? Totally. And so what the duck just started this year,

but you've already got a few episodes out. Can you tell me about

one of those? Yeah, we've had some really fun episodes, including like a swearing duck, but

there's one that I've just made, which really caught my attention, because it's a question

that I've had for ages, and that is, why are there all these birds that have these sort of childishly misogynistic names like tits and boobies and hooters?

And then when you think about it, even the word bird can be used in like this sort of, you know, pejorative way for women. Like, oh, that's my

bird. I don't know, maybe that's country people that still say that, but I have definitely

still heard that in common use. And it's like, well, what is going on there? And what's with all

the birds that have names that are named after male humans.
