guest is the novelist Alan First. There are not many authors who've written as many books as Mr. First

about whom I can say I have read all of them, but I can. I've read all 12 of the books

that you've written. Starting and when did you publish the first of these?

The first of them was night soldiers and I believe it was the late 80s when I published it.

And I probably, the first one I read I think was a world at night about Jean-Kissant and then I went back caught up and now have read all including your most recent book which is a hero of France.
