I'm super proud to announce that AIFTP detection is now available to all train road subscribers.

0:04.6

Now what this feature does is I'll just click one button and then our AI comes in, looks

0:08.8

at your entire training history, both indoor and outdoor, with train road or without, and

0:12.9

compares that against our 150 million ride dataset to figure out what trends and patterns

0:17.3

are similar to then give you an FTP.

0:19.2

Now a really cool part of this is that you don't have to do capacitive efforts or an all-out

0:22.8

effort over to get an FTP.

0:24.2

Sometimes you might have seen on the internet where they will detect your FTP but you'll

0:26.9

have to do a 20 minute all-out effort somewhere in your training in order for it to work.

0:30.4

Because we have such a huge dataset, what we're able to do is you could train only sweet spot,

0:34.6

only endurance training, you'd have to do anything above threshold and we can actually predict

0:38.8

with a pretty high accuracy what your FTP will be on that day.

0:42.5

Now how do we know this works?

0:43.9

What we did is we validated this data against people's workouts post-changing their FTP.

0:48.7

So there's a few different ways that could happen.

0:50.7

One is someone could type in their FTP themselves, they could do the 8 or 20 minute test, they

0:54.1

could do the ramp test or they could use AIFTP detection.

0:56.6

So we put AIFTP detection in early access, which is like an open beta about nine months

1:01.7

ago.

1:02.7

And since then we have 22,000 people sign up for it.

1:04.7

And what we did is when they used that feature, we looked at their next workout and saw it,

1:08.6

did they struggle on it, were they able to achieve it, did they quit early.
