You're going to St. Louis, where at least some version of him did according to stories, newspaper accounts, eyewitness

testimonies and a terrifying mishmash of legends that have been told and re-told over the last

70 years. The events of the St. Louis Exercism have inspired books,

documentaries, and even one very famous horror film and while it is without a doubt

the greatest unsolved mystery in the city's history, it's also become such a strange mixture of fiction and fact that it's hard to know where the truth ends and fantasy begins.

With this series within a series of the podcast, we're hoping to fix that.

This is part three of our look into the St. Louis exorcism story, so if you're joining us for the first time, we suggest you go back to

episode 29 where the story begins. Everything about this story is confusing

enough and we don't want to make it worse by having you start in the middle. In our last episode we left things

after Father Baudern and Father Bishop had made multiple visits to the home of Robbie's relatives in

Bel-Nor and became convinced that he was truly possessed. They sought out and received

permission to conduct an exorcism. But was Robbie really possessed? Well, that's the big question, isn't it? In this series

within a series we've gathered the evidence and we're going to present it so that

you can decide for yourself if you want to believe the story of the St Louis

exorcism or not. All that we ask is that you keep an open mind

and then decide what you think happened in 1949 after you've heard all the evidence.

It's a strange story, it's a confusing one and as I've said before it's pretty damn scary.
