Welcome to the Wallace Show aftercast, all the stuff we did not get to during the course of the show today, including some updates.

I survived my bout with COVID. It tried to unalive me twice, but I did not succumb.

I know, pretty amazing.

Betty Rock has had COVID once.

I've had it now twice.

Gavin, how many times did you have COVID?

Twice now? Twice. Pastor Chad, 47. twice.

Yeah, uh, Pastor Chad, 47 times.

He might still have it. I think he generally has it.

He just always has it.

And we've all just accepted it.

It is the weird thing though. And my wife was asking me about this as well.

She's like why do we even test for it anymore? Because it's not as lethal as it was

but it's still like super contagious and so like Betty was like take a test

make sure that you take a test and she's texting my wife about taking a test and I'm

assuming that just because it's contagious because for most most people not everybody some people it's still

really it messes with them I knew a girl she is 24 got COVID last year or whatever her

heart stopped four times at 24 and like not in bad shape it

just wrecked her and so I recently saw her she's a friend of my daughters and

she's good now but she still has to take a heart medicine at 24 a year later and

that's starting to wean off of that. So I'm not mitigating the seriousness of it but

like for me it's a head cold is all it's ever really been and I'll get really tired.
