Here are your Washington headlines of the day. Number one, the biggest question Democrats are asking, why should they help President Donald Trump and Republicans? Number two,

House Republicans are already falling behind on their reconciliation timeline. And number three,

noms, noms, noms. All right, Jake, let's get into it. We are leading Punchful News AM with a look at how Democrats are asking, why should we help Trump and the Republicans? It is said that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. President Donald Trump, Speaker Mike Johnson, and Senate Majority Leader John Thune might be

about to find that out. Now, let's just set the state chair of Jake government funding runs out on

March 14th, just 39 days from now and with a one-vote margin in the House and the 60-vote threshold

in the Senate. GOP congressional leaders desperately need Democratic

support to keep federal agencies open. However, Trump has made that very difficult for Democrats

after he's made some kind of controversial decisions to begin to have the State Department

to take control over, at least temporarily.

The United States Agency for International Development imposed stiff new tariffs on Canada,

Mexico and China, and strip deportation protection from hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans,

leaving Democrats wondering whether it's still politically feasible to help Republicans conduct any normal business on Capitol Hill.
