today by Mika Solner, who's just returning from sunny, warm Miami, which she was at the Republican

House retreat. Mika, how you doing? Good. Thanks for having me on. Yeah, it's great to have you on.

And I'm very jealous you were in Southern Florida for what seemed to be an exciting time at the

House GP retreat.

I want to hear all about it.

And first off, just tell our listeners what are these retreats normally like and how did this

retreat? How is it different than maybe past years? Yeah, so the retreats are always kind of a mix.

You know, you don't really know what kind of news you're going to get out of it because usually

the access is much different from when we're up at the capital, kind of walking around, chasing people.

You can just kind of go up to members all the time, as you all know.

But the retreats, you're really kind of usually restricted to one media room, and you have scheduled press conferences, and you have to set up your own interviews.

So it's very different.

So it's up to you to make news,

you know, with your own individualized interviews most of the time. But this year, I did think it was

a bit different because we had a lot more access this time around than last year in particular.

I didn't go the year before, but last year was pretty strict. I know you were there, Max.
