Summary

During and after the recent collapse of Afghanistan's bid for freedom thousands of loyal Afghans as well as American families were left trapped in that country with little hope of escape and great fear of execution. A great effort was made within a very limited time frame by a number of civilian groups to provide hope and in many cases a path to freedom for these refugees. We speak here with two people who were at the center of one of these relief efforts, Andrew Gardner and Annie Hardy.
