and no one starts off wanting to become addicted. We all like to feel as

though we have control over our lives, but the addiction can end up owning your life.

Addiction has a few requirements and one of those requirements is lying because no one wants to feel as though they are addicted. But when you lie to yourself about the addiction or hide its consequences, You soon find that lying comes easily to you. In fact, it can become a way of life. And you get so good at lying that you may even begin to lie to yourself

and justify why you are not addicted or how you'll give up, that you could really give up whenever you want it.

And what happens is you can lose touch with who you are and what you believe in.

Addiction attacks the fundamental core of your true inner nature. And the more you lie, the more you feel a shame.
