0:03.0	Well, friends, it's obvious that the world is developing and that we are seeking ways to solve the problems facing us.
0:11.0	But are we thinking enough about what also needs to be left behind and how much is being left behind in this moment? There's so much fear about the change because of what's being left behind and how much is being left behind in this moment.

0:43.4	That's the promise, after all, of a lot of spiritual influencers, of politicians,
0:48.4	of technocrat capitalists, of population growth enthusiasts, and more.
0:53.2	Sometimes those are all the same person.
0:56.6	And countering that doesn't really seem very fun because that messaging comes from, you know,
1:03.5	the deal that certain leftists want to make with us about advocating the erosion of pleasure
1:09.1	or romanticizing the wandering ascetic who has no belongings
1:13.5	and just somehow gets away from the world. Or of course there's also the violence of neoprimidivism,
1:21.5	which is just get rid of industrial civilization altogether in some giant ego-driven bombing of dams and infrastructure and all that
1:32.9	kind of stuff. We have to ask ourselves how to develop and what to leave behind so that it can be
1:40.8	transformed. We have to leave things behind so that they can find their own path
1:46.6	to being redeemed or so we can look at them from a distance and then redeem them. Not everything
