in a series of episodes on occult and esoteric Christianity, which is an evolving tradition that

offers vitalizing insight into how to move forward and face the challenges of our world.

This episode's kind of special, and I'll tell you why in a second,

but across the episodes, I've talked about various streams and fruits of a cult and esoteric

Christianity, as well as some of its key figures, rather than presenting the typically

dogmatic, dominating, and totalizing Christianity, which is always in danger of being seized

by people, especially conservatives with power, this series presented a different and truer form,

open, wounded, individuated, and powerless. The other episodes included episodes with two

Christian community priests, Reverend Jonah Evans and Reverend Patrick Kennedy,

an episode on the Bulgarian spiritual teacher Peter Dunav with writer and researcher David Lorimer,

a discussion of the Cypriot, esoteric teacher and healer, Daskalos, with Daniel Joseph and Akiy Toshimitsu,

which concluded with a beautiful meditation from Aki, and one with Lisa Romero

on the New Christian Mysteries of the Heart. But the figure that keeps coming up on the podcast,

and especially in this series, is Rudolph Steiner. And I knew I needed to talk about this pivotal

figure in my own life and thinking and

his esoteric Christian offering of the encounter and understanding of being human anthroposophy.

So to do that, I invited another pivotal figure in my life onto the show, my sister, Laura Scapetici.
