I'm a retired Navy SEAL and founder of the Courage Foundation.

Around Memorial Day, we take time to remember all the veteran of foreign wars who've served and

many who have given their lives and service to our country to keep us safe and to promote

democracy and I think it's particularly important to also remember those

veterans who served but came home scarred and damaged from their service with post-traumatic stress.

That insidious disease is killing 22 veterans a day to suicide.

And these vets often have trouble reaching out. They don't know where to

look for help and the help they do receive is often limited or one dimensional. At the

Courage Foundation we have the veteran integration program, which helps these vets reintegrate and define post-traumatic growth.
