Welcome back to the mini what have you

Advent series. It is December 17th. It's getting serious out.

This time you have to just be with us as we drive around to go get Rachel a

chili. Yeah protein matters you know feeding the brain this close to

Christmas is it's's important. Very important. So yeah we are getting

her a chili or driving about. Not yet but we hope to be able to be able to be

with us as we order giving me a chili. But today we wanted Becca.

We really should have put this, paired this subpar Christmas

with a recipe.

It should have been poached, trees. with a

poached trees with poached pouched eggs yeah poached pouched pears

because poached pears are very beautiful they are

I saw I have never done I have poached

pairs but I've never done the this particular recipe was a Christmas

Pavlava that had the red you know know, poached pears.

I have done poached pears in red wine that makes some the most gorgeous color.

However, where I went wrong was they were

delicious. I did them on a really decadent chocolate tart and it looked really cool to have just the half of the

pair kind of like two halves or whatever on the tart but I was doing them round

and I wanted everyone to get a slice so we slice the pairs poach them and then put them on like each slice got one it was good but I'll tell you that is a

unsightly thing to look at it looks kind of like weird slugs it's

not it no longer keeps the like oh what a beautiful raspberry red pair it's suddenly like what is this
