This is going to be the final part of my series on how to improve your blog's

page speed and Google PageSpeed Insight Score.

In the last episode, I let you in on the epic growth that one of my old neglected blogs

had over the last six months, going from 100,000 to 1 million monthly sessions just because of

page speed alone. This episode is going to give you the broad strokes of my brand new process

that I've implemented on my own blogs that has given me instant results on page speed and Google PSI mobile scores.

With just my plug-in and theme optimization process, I was able to take one of my blogs

from a 3.08 second load time to a 0.56 second load time and from a 2 PSI mobile score all the way to a 98 PSI mobile score.

The crazy thing about this particular blog was that it is still sitting on a basic shared hosting plan from four years ago.

The overall goal here is to get your page speed for your homepage and blog post to less

than two seconds.

Ideally, we would like it to be as close to one second as possible.

For the PSI mobile scores, we want to see at least 80 plus and ideally 90 plus.

We're going to start this off by talking about plugins.

I talk with the top experts and bloggers with 90 plus mobile scores to find out the active

plugins that they were using on their blogs.

When all of the research was completed, I found two parts to the plugin optimization

that contributed to the fastest load times and highest PSI mobile scores.
