Then fear came upon every soul and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.

So in addition to what we just saw, right, in terms of Pentecost and the speaking of different

languages, there are other wonders and signs. Now, this is connected to, remember how St. Luke began, the book of Acts, that in his gospel,

were all the things that Jesus began to do and to teach.

Well, what did Jesus do?

He did a lot of signs and wonders, right?

Right. As part of his ministry.

Well, that continues in this apostolic community

because, again, this apostolic community

is the continuation of what Jesus did and taught,

not some sort of new third thing.

What was the meaning of then fear came upon every self?

Yeah, fear, awe might be a better reverence.

The reverence and awe that you have for God, that you ought to have for God. Right, right.

This experience that sort of God is here present with us and things are happening.

Yeah, it's not fears and, you know, they're terrified and trying to hide.

But fear in that, fear in the fear of the Lord sense.

Now all who believed were together and had all things in common

and sold their possessions and goods and divided them among all as anyone had need.
