but now an Orthodox priest serving at Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another,

Look, are not all these who speak Galileans?

Galileans, at least Hebrew Galileans, were not renowned for their education, shall we say.

There were Greeks living in Galilee, and they were the wealthy class.

That's why it's referred to as Galilee of the Gentiles.

And as we know from the actual case of, for example, the 11, right?

You've got a bunch of fishermen, right, who have no formal education, you've got a bunch of,

and so from their perspective, these educated people are speaking all of these languages,

which is why they're sort of shocked.

Right?

They're sort of like, wait a minute, how are they, you know?

It would be sort of like if, you know, if you were at the Circle K

and you were walking out and you bumped into somebody,

and he started speaking to you in Mandarin Chinese, you know, and he didn't look Chinese.

Right?

We're speaking fluent Mandarin Chinese, yeah.

You know, you'd be sort of shocked, like, what?
