Welcome to Searchlight, a survey through Scripture with Pastor John Corson.

It is our desire to bring you a systematic study of the entire Bible, chapter by chapter, book by book.

Here on Searchlight, we have been studying through the Book of Acts.

In our study of this book, we have taken

quite a bit of time looking at chapter 20. In this chapter, the Apostle Paul is holding a leadership

conference, and as we listen in, we are gaining a greater understanding of how we can be effective

leaders in our churches, workplaces, and homes.

As we pick up the study today, we are talking about the importance of warning people about

those who want to harm them. With our study, here now is Pastor John.

When you share with people, watch out for this. When you share names and say there's danger,

there's snakes out there, there's poison, people say, oh, that's not very loving pastor.

And I get the letters and the phone calls.

But I say to you that there is poison and there are people that are snakes that need to be named.

Paul did that. He said, Alexander the Coppersmith and Hymanius.

And he named many men individually by name that said they're doing great harm.
