Welcome to Searchlight, a survey through Scripture with Pastor John Corson.

It is our desire to bring you a systematic

study of the entire Bible, chapter by chapter, book by book.

In our past study of Acts chapter 20, we saw a very important key to ministering to other people.

And that key is that we must first take heed to ourselves.

In other words, if our walk with Jesus isn't real, we are not going to be able to minister effectively to others.

But if our walk with Jesus is real, we will have a positive and powerful effect on others.

This point is critically important.

But now that this point is established, we are moving forward in our study in Acts chapter 20

to see more specifically how to minister to other people.

With the continuation of our study, here now is Pastor John.

Therefore, verse 28, feed the Church of God. That's what you're to do.

Whether you're an elder at Applegate, or whether you're a Sunday school teacher in the kids' wing, or whether

you're a witnesser where you work, or whether you're a mom or a dad in perhaps that most

important of all ministries, your calling is very simple. Feed the church. Feed God's people.
