Welcome to Searchlight, a survey through Scripture with Pastor John Corson.

It is our desire to bring you a systematic study of the entire Bible, chapter by chapter, book by book.

Today on Searchlight, we begin our last verse by verse study in the 20th chapter of Acts.

We have spent several weeks looking at this chapter because there are so many powerful

lessons to learn.

The section that we will look at beginning today is part of a leadership conference

that Paul is holding with the elders at Ephesus.

And through this section of

scripture, we will gain a greater understanding of how to more effectively minister to people.

With our study, here now is Pastor John. Paul is on the island of Miletus, where he has called

for the elders from Ephesus to gather together. He was giving them a powerful

and practical exhortation on leadership, on ministry. This is a very important passage. For any brother, for every sister who wants to be used by the Lord to any degree at all.

Now, beginning at verse 17 and going through verse 27, Paul gives a summation of his ministry amongst the brothers that were at Ephesus.

So it's a summation of his ministry, beginning at verse 28, and going to the end of the chapter
