guys we are in Acts chapter 19.

Paul was in Ephesus and, you know, he was doing some preaching and, you know, ran across

some people that didn't ever hear of the Holy Spirit.

So that was weird.

And then, you know, talked a little bit about baptism, did some baptizing.

And then we got to hear about Jewish itinerant exorcists.

Yeah, exorcists, yeah.

Yeah.

And so these guys are out fake casting out demons and think that Paul's doing real casting out demons.

So they decide to, you know, maybe plagiarize some of his language, see if they can get the real thing going on.

And they proceeded to get beat naked

by a man possessed by an evil spirit because that won't work. But what this did result in

is everyone saying, hey, let me burn all my books of witchcraft and anything that would even

resemble anything like that because that was quite the

scene. Indeed. So picking it up at verse 21, it says, now after these events, Paul resolved in

the spirit to pass through Macedonia and Akaya and go to Jerusalem, saying, after I have been

there, I must also see Rome. And having sent into Macedonia, two of his helpers, Timothy and Erastus, he himself

stayed in Asia for a while.
