So what kind of tip do you have for us today?

My tip would be for attacking hills or for a lot of 100-milers mountains is when you're

climbing, really finding that rhythm as you climb.

For me, it's not necessarily just charging up a mountain, it's finding that rhythm with

your heart rate.

So finding moments to power hike sometimes, if you feel like your heart rate's going,

and this is especially early on in a 100-miler, your heart rate's going to go into high, slow

down a little bit.

If you feel like your heart rate's pretty good, find moments to pick it up to even run.

Even disfalling the natural flow of the course, even on climbs, there's points where it

may descend for a certain period of time, actually take advantage of that and pick up your

I find like that when I do that, I'm able to get up mountains pretty quickly and yeah.
