0:21.0	Well, we are about to wade into one of the most enigmatic passages in scripture.
0:27.0	Anytime you get a passage that has elements of prophetic or apocalyptic language,
0:32.8	it can be hard to understand.
0:35.0	And this passage is the basis
0:37.6	of much of the prophetic and apocalyptic language
0:40.4	that will come in the rest of the New Testament and it's rooted on in quotes from
0:45.4	some of the most enigmatic prophecies in the Old Testament.
0:49.5	And let me say this at the outset.

0:58.1	multitude about what's happening in certain parts of this text. It is confusing in so many areas. And I know for many of you
1:06.0	you may be asking, so then why are we studying it? Why are you doing this bed? We don't have to do this.

1:27.0	Well we're moving through the book and let me say this. Why would Mark do this? We decided to cover the gospel of Mark to get the story of Jesus and Mark is the
1:34.3	breeziest gospel it moves fast and Mark really just records two sermons of Jesus
1:40.1	not because the rest aren't important is because Mark's in a hurry.
1:43.0	And as he records two of them, this is one of the two.
