but if you trust you, then go ahead and grab it.

I don't want you gramming something while we're in the book.

This is week three of a three-week series on repentance, and I said last week, I know repentance

probably isn't anyone's like favorite subject, and yet I have found 33 years into following Christ that

the gift of repentance to the children of God and to those far from God is the fast track to

experiencing the grace, mercy, and love that God has for us in Jesus Christ. So if it conjures into your mind a picture of somebody

on a corner holding up a sign about hell with a bullhorn, I want to try to just go, no, that's not

it. Like repentance is this invitation into an experience of the love and mercy of God.

It's a reminder that no matter what your past is

or what your present struggle is,

the Creator God of the universe has made a way for you,

that you have not out sent His grace,

that you have not become so broken as to not be repaired.

And so I said in week one, I kind of started with a bang about

repenting of righteousness. I think that's a thing that gets lost on us that you cannot

offer moral righteousness to God. You cannot look to yourself to save yourself. It's like the
