1:11.8 | pretty hard heavy few months. If you follow me on Instagram you might have seen that we lost Nathan's |
1:19.2 | mom at the end of April and while she had been sick for a long time the end actually came quicker |
1:26.3 | than any of us were really prepared for. She went on hospice in December because the doctors had |
1:33.3 | really tried everything they knew to try and she was very weary of going back and forth and |
1:40.6 | in and out of the hospital and she was honestly just ready to see the Lord. She was only 69 |
1:47.1 | but her body was so very limited in terms of quality of life and being able to get around |
1:54.3 | and she was just weary. On her first few months of being on hospice care all of us kids kind of |
2:00.2 | thought that she would maybe be around for a while because she seemed to be doing pretty well |
2:04.9 | and thankfully our family went to see her in January with the intent and we even said this out |
2:10.5 | loud to her and to each other that it could very well be our last time to see each other and so we |
2:16.1 | just went in very intentional and it was such a gift to be able to just sit with her for an entire day |
2:24.0 | and talk and share and she even let us go through some of her things and gave us each some special |
2:30.7 | heirlooms just stuff she wanted us to have and when we hug goodbye we hugged as those who carry |
