We're so glad everybody's here this morning and we welcome our visitors.

I don't really like the word visitor, new friends.

And I apologize a little bit, but there's some business I'd like for us to take care of this morning.

And I'm talking to our main folks.

And I want to, I want you to turn to a scripture or two and let me set this up properly.

In Acts, the sixth chapter, if you'd turn there, and 1 Timothy 3.

there's some things

that I've had on my heart

that I want us to do as a church

and

I need your participation in this, I need your involvement and help.

I've had this on my heart for a long time, but it wasn't quite time for us to talk about it yet.

In Acts, the sixth chapter in the first verse it talks about that there was a murmuring and complaining of one group

against another in the church because people were neglected in the daily men in administration.

And the 12 called the multitude of disciples to them, verse 2.

And they said, the leaders said, it's not reason that we should leave the word of God and serve tables.

Wherefore, brethren, look you out among you seven men full, excuse me, of honest report,

full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, who we may appoint over this business, but we will give

ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the Word.
