Thank you, Lord.

Turn tonight to Romans 8 again.

We're continuing in our series on the spiritual man.

We have, I believe this is our fourth session on this.

We've been talking about the spiritual man.

We're talking about the difference between being carnal and being spiritual

and then also how to be spiritual rather than carnal. Romans 8, are you there? Romans 8 and verse 5. Romans 8, verse 5

says, for they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh.

But they that are after the spirit, the things of the spirit.

For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Because the carnal mind is enmity against God.

It's not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But you're not in the flesh, but in the

spirit. You know, that's a great confession? I said, did you know that's a great confession?

Somebody says, well, yeah, we're in the flesh. No, we're, we have a flesh. We're living down here,

but we're not living in the flesh. We're not living

controlled by the flesh. We're living in the spirit. It'll help you to say that out loud over

yourself. Amen? You know, griping about the flesh is unbelief. Oh, there's old flesh. I'm so tired of fooling with this thing. I'm always having to deal with these desires and these feelings and I'm gruelg, grung, blah. Unbelief. Never will that help you. When it feels like your flesh has really been messing up your day,

that's when you need to stand up and say, I'm in the spirit. I live in the spirit. I walk in the

spirit. Your head will say, you don't look like it. Say say, shut up. I walk in the spirit.

That's what faith is all about.

I mean, if you felt like that and looked like that, you wouldn't have to walk by faith.
