Summary

In today's Summer Soul Care Series Finale, you are invited to enter into this time of meditation with the imagination and mindset of a beloved child of God. God created you for a unique purpose. Your birth was a celebration! Embrace the loving words of God speaking over you, reminding you of your unique worth and value in this world, and reminding you that you belong and you are forever loved.

As I prepared to write this final episode of our summer soul care series, I was especially excited about this meditation, a time to be born.

I love the birthing metaphor and how it applies to every season of life, not just being born

in the physical sense, but our spiritual birth as well. Our lives are always birthing something

new, and God is always bringing forth something new in us.

So as much as I wanted to focus this meditation on dreaming of birthing new things, I felt

a Holy Spirit prompting to focus instead on the miracle and uniqueness of the day you were

born.

So today's meditation may feel a little different. Just as we know the

importance of speaking love and affirmations over children, I invite you to enter into this space

with the imagination and mindset of a beloved child of God.

Embrace the loving words of God, speaking over you,

and reminding you of your unique worth and value in this world.

So take several slow, centering breaths. Get cozy and comfortable and comfortable.

Visualize a picture of yourself as a child.

Then ask God to be with you in that memory. Now imagine the loving, attentive gaze of God upon you as we settle in and begin.
