At their core, they have the same themes and plots and kinds of characters that all great stories have.

Reality TV just has a different aesthetic,

but it's only trashy if you can't see past the spray tans and lip filler. So let's not judge a book

by its cover and talk about some good reality TV. Every other week on this show, we have a guest

to talk about a favorite reality TV scene of theirs, and we write down why it's so

important and good storytelling. And today we have a great guest talking about one of the

most infamous reality TV scenes of all time. So let's get right into it. Today we are talking

to someone very cool.

She's an educator, an author, and a podcaster, Joanne Crone.

She hosts the really great podcast No Guilt Mom,

where she talks with experts and gives advice on how to be a mom that connects with her kids

and is able to follow her own passions, which is incredible because I know lots of moms who are

very sick of like being in charge of the mental load and that meaning like they have to put

their happiness to the side. So we love what you're talking about over at no guilt mom.

I love it. I love it. I'm so happy to be here because my, one of my, like, guilty pleasures is

reality TV. And I used to work in it. So I hope to give like that perspective a little bit too.

Right. And when, when you did work in reality TV, can you, can you tell our listeners what show

you worked on? Yeah. I worked on a Fox show called Princes of Malibu.
